Three years in the making, Big Water , a new album by Queensland musicians Penny Davies and Roger Ilott , is set to enchant fans in Australia and elsewhere with fourteen thoughtful and musical tracks. Penny and Roger do not preach: their songs are narratives that inform in the way that a reporter does. This is illustrated in the title track ‘Big Water' , “a hymn to our precious rivers,” that Penny and Roger wrote together. For more information, click on the picture at left.

Restless Music's best selling album to date. Written by Bill Scott - one of Australia's finest poets - performed by Penny & Roger who have brought his work to the ears of millions of Australians.
The song Where The Cane Fires Burn was featured as the introductory music for the ABC Radio talking book Sugar In The Blood, by Bill Oliver, read by Drew Forsyth, and heard on Australia All Over. and on the album Macca's Sunday Best - A Collection from Australia All Over with Ian McNamara. The song was Number One on Macca's hit parade that year.
Hey Rain also features regularly on Ian McNamara's Sunday programme and appeared on the very first (double platinum) Australia All Over album

Between 1984 and 1998 when this album was released, Penny & Roger's work was only available on vinyl (their first 3 albums) and cassette - so OUTBACK CAFE collects some of the tracks which would otherwise be unavailable - plus a few new songs.
The Monkeys Sing Soprano - written by Bill Scott - appeared on Macca By Request - Favourite Songs From Australia All Over - Volume 1 and Ridin' On The Fruit Train appeared on Macca By Request - Volume 2.
